  • You can obtain the credential and apply for the Andariega in the Visitor’s Centre.  (Avenida de Madrid 37. C.P.: 05001 Ávila).
  • Starting point: Plaza de la Santa.

About Ávila

It’s impossible to highlight all monuments and places to visit in Ávila but, a pilgrim shouldn’t miss:

The Convent of the Incarnation , where Teresa lived half of her life;  St Josephs’s Monastery, where she started the Carmel reform); and the Convent of Santa Teresa, church and convent built on the site of the house where Teresa was born.

Don’t forget to visit the Medieval Wall and the Four Posts, where Teresa was stopped by his uncle while she was trying to leave for muslims lands to convert its people to Catholicism.
